12v Solar Panels
In our 12v Solar Panels range there are 2 main categories, Aluminium framed which are of a solid construction and our flexible range.
Framed models are made with a glass front (very safe toughened and anti-shatter). This makes them more efficient than the flexible and semi-flexible units. However semi flexible panels can be bonded straight to a surface, like the deck of a boat, and may be walked upon without risk. This makes them a very versatile and rugged product especially for the marine environment.
All our framed models are made with Monocrystalline technology. These type of cells have the greatest lifespan and efficiency currently available to make a 12v Solar Panel. To find out more about the technologies available please see our Solar Explanation article.
