Using a small wind turbine and 80w of SunStore's Monocrystalline panels this monitoring station can be completely sufficient without the need for generators or mains power.

What started from a small hobby kit is now a little bit more serious. This installation is using 3 x 80w 12v solar panels plus a MPPT Morningstar controller for increased efficency to charge a large bank of batteries (660ah). This then supplies various appliances within the main house.

At Parrett Storage in Somerset they use SunStores Lighting kits to safely light their metal containers. 240v was considered a safety risk due to the huge amount of metal containers and walkways. Our 12v DC system is safe and highly efficient. Parrett also use SunStores High Powered LED Flood Lights to light the gangways, and making huge savings on the electricity bills and replacement bulbs.
