This medium scale off-grid kit is ideal for applications such as summer houses, garages, workshops and static caravans. In UK summer conditions this system could generate approximately 7.5kWh per day.

The 1425W, 24V, 4.2kWh Professional off-grid kit includes the following components:

3 x 475w domestic solar panel – Panel model may vary depending on availability

1 x Victron Smart Solar MPPT 150/65 charge controller

1 x DC isolator switch

3 x Aluminium L shape mounting brackets (set of 6)

1 x MC4 type connectors (1 pair, male & female)

4 x Stud-Type Battery Terminal Clamps

1 x 50a Midi fuse and fuse holder

4x Rolls S6 275 (6v 250ah) AGM batteries

6 x cable lugs (2 x 16/5, 2 x 16/8, 2 x 16/10)

3 x Battery connection cables

1 x Battery isolator switch

20 meters of 4mm single core solar cable

1x 16mm Red Tri Rated

1x 16mm Black Tri Rated

 

If an inverter has been chosen, the following components will also be included:

1 x Midi Fuse and Holder with 1x 70A Fuse provided

1 x VE.Direct inverter control

1 x 1 Metre Black 10mm Cable

1 x 1 Metre Red 10mm Cable

2 x 10-8 Lugs

2 x 10-5 Lugs

3 x 3A 12v Solar Wire (1m)

 

This kit is supplied as standard with a Victron Phoenix 24v 800Va inverter, but can be used as 24v only without an inverter.

This kit can be ordered as 24v only or with a 250Va, 375Va, 500Va, 800Va or 1200Va Victron Phoenix inverter with VE.Direct inverter control

 

Batteries can be upgraded to 1x Fogstar 24V 280ah lithium battery for 6.7kWh usable lithium capacity.

Please note that that the mounts supplied are basic aluminium L-shape brackets. For tiled or corrugated roof surfaces different mounting options will be needed. Please email [email protected] if you need different mounting options for your kit.

 

This kit can be made for a 12V system however a higher cost will be incurred, please contact us if this is of interest and we will be happy to help.

 

Pre-wired Option:

Option includes a 1.2m x 1.2m board with your solar kit mounted upon. Built up here in our workshop prior to delivery. Wired, tested and ready to go.  Our pre-assembled plug & play kits will remove much of the DIY element of our off grid kits.

Leaving you to simply

1. Mount the solar panels.
2. Wire up your solar panels to the pre-assembled board using the simple pre-wired cables. 
3. Connect the batteries.
