Some Victron inverter/chargers can also monitor batteries and automatically switch to a backup source if power runs out or fails. That makes them ideal for remote installations or off-grid solar energy systems.
Victron’s intelligent chargers can feature adaptive charge technology, battery management, multi-stage charging and an AC transfer switch which can double as an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) in some situations.
They can adapt charging depending on battery charge level and condition, and remotely switch from battery to generator backup should power be interrupted.
