950W, 12V, 2.3kWh Professional Off-Grid Kit

This small scale off-grid kit is ideal for medium usage applications such as summerhouses, garages and workshops. In UK summer conditions this system could generate approximately 5kWh per day.

The 950W, 12V, 2.3kWh Professional off-grid kit includes the following components:

2 x 475w domestic solar panel – Panel model may vary depending on availability

1 x Victron Smart Solar MPPT 150/60 charge controller

1 x DC isolator switch

2 x Aluminium L shape mounting brackets (set of 6)

1 x MC4 type connectors (1 pair, male & female)

4 x Stud-Type Battery Terminal Clamps

1 x 70a Midi fuse & fuse holder

6 x Cable Lugs (2 x 16/8, 2 x 16/5, 2 x 16/10)

4 x 12v 110ah Leoch AGM Leisure battery

1 x Battery isolator switch

6 x Battery connection cables

20 meters of 4mm single core solar cable

1x 16mm Black Tri Rated

1x 16mm Red Tri Rated

Panels and batteries are delivered separately from the other components. You will receive 3 packages by separate couriers.

 

If an inverter has been chosen, the following components will also be included:

1 x Midi Fuse and Holder with 1x 70A Fuse provided (100a for 800va inverter)

1 x VE.Direct inverter control

1 x 1 Metre Black 10mm Cable (16mm for 800va inverter)

1 x 1 Metre Red 10mm Cable (16mm for 800va inverter)

2 x 10-8 Lugs (16-8 for 800va inverter)

2 x 10-5 Lugs (16-6 for 800va inverter)

3 x 3A 12v Solar Wire (1m)

 

This kit is supplied as standard with a Victron Phoenix 12v 500Va inverter, but can be used as 12v only without an inverter.

This kit can be ordered as 12v only or with a 250Va, 375Va, 500Va or 800Va Victron Phoenix inverter with VE.Direct inverter control

Please note that that the mounts supplied are basic aluminium L-shape brackets. For tiled or corrugated roof surfaces different mounting options will be needed. Please email [email protected] if you need different mounting options for your kit.

 

Upgrade options:

• 2.4kwh usable LiGen lithium is a single 200ah 12v Ligen battery. Please note that these batteries are made to order and may have a 2 week lead time.
• 1.2kwh usable Fogstar lithium is a single 105ah 12v Fogstar battery. Please note that these batteries are made to order and may have a 2 week lead time.
• 3.0kwh usable Fogstar lithium is a single 300ah 12v Fogstar battery. Please note that these batteries are made to order and may have a 2 week lead time.

 

 

Pre-wired Option:

Option includes a 1.2m x 1.2m board with your solar kit mounted upon. Built up here in our workshop prior to delivery. Wired, tested and ready to go.  Our pre-assembled plug & play kits will remove much of the DIY element of our off grid kits.

Leaving you to simply

1. Mount the solar panels.
2. Wire up your solar panels to the pre-assembled board using the simple pre-wired cables. 
3. Connect the batteries.
